Owner & Principal Designer
Rhonnika Clifton is the Owner and Principal Designer of R J Clifton Designs, LLC in Houston, TX. As a native Houstonian, Rhonnika has been decorating, designing, and organizing residential spaces for local and nationwide clients for over sixteen (16) years. Her passion and knowledge of space planning, color theory, and textures are the basis of her bold, unique designs. Rhonnika has grown her business over the years, starting with developing a decorating company in 2006, to encompassing a parent company, R J Clifton Designs, LLC in 2015, which services high-end residential and boutique commercial clients. General Contractor
Omar Gonzalez, originally from Guatemala, embarked on his professional journey in Mississippi before eventually settling in Houston, Texas. With a passion for handyman work and construction, he found his niche as a general contractor for R J Clifton Designs, LLC, where he brings detailed, innovative ideas to life. Omar finds his greatest fulfillment is a devoted husband and father of four.
LaTrice Gentry-Brooks
Project Manager & Designer
LaTrice has an educational background in interior design & construction management and has worked in the industry in various capacities including field construction, specifying & procurement, space planning, and drafting. Her love for the design build industry began as a young child and led to a professional design career spanning over twelve years. Having both a background in interior design and construction has given her a unique perspective in which she enjoys bridging the gap between the two specialties.
Tiarra Whitaker
Junior Designer & Marketing Coordinator
Tiarra Whitaker holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The University of Texas at San Antonio. With a background enriched by international study and active membership in the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), she brings a wealth of expertise to her role as a junior designer at R J Clifton Designs, LLC, where she joined the team in 2024. Known for her critical thinking skills and collaborative approach, Tiarra is poised to make significant contributions to the field of interior design, infusing projects with creativity and innovation.
Baridilo Dube
Operations Manager
Baridilo Dube holds a Bachelor of Arts in Policy Studies and Sociology from Rice University. She has spent several years in the nonprofit sector as a program manager, project manager, and consultant. Her commitment to consulting and program development led her to join the dynamic team at R J Clifton Designs, LLC in 2024, where she serves as the Business Operations Manager and continues to drive positive change through innovative approaches and collaborative solutions.

Content Develpment Manager
Christa Jones, a proud native of Houston, TX, brings a unique blend of expertise to her position with R J Clifton Designs, LLC. Her background in psychology and counseling gives her a deep understanding of human behavior and communication, which she harnesses to craft compelling narratives and engaging content. Outside of her professional pursuits, Christa finds immense joy in her roles as a loving wife and devoted mother.

Phyllis Johnson has 20+ years of interior design experience and over 13 years of experience specializing in wellness interior design. After
consciously making healthy choices in her life, she discovered that the home was one of the most critical environments that was being neglected. She has an approach to design that is classic, timeless, and stylish yet centered around interior design elements that can be repurposed and are versatile. Her tenured commitment to the design-build industry brings skills that are highly utilized in her position with R J Clifton Designs.
